22 Elf on the Shelf Ideas

So I was getting ideas together for Fred for this year and realized I never posted all his antics from his first year at our house.  So here you go, most were pretty easy and were good for toddlers.  I will say that I didnt do the whole "dont touch him" thing, after he was found each morning he was moved to his "staging area" of sitting on the window sill about the kitchen sink (when the kids werent watching).  They never tried to touch him there and that way I could clean up any mess he might have made that would not have been smart to leave out all day.  It worked well for us!

Sweet Girl 1st Birthday Party (Family Edition)

Amelia had a wonderful 1st birthday party!!  We had so much fun with all her friends and family.  I've already done 2 other posts about the party (one about decor and one about food) but I wanted to use this one just to show the pictures of her and the fun we all had.  This one is not going to get posted on pinterest, so really it should be called the family & friends edition.

Now on with the pictures!!!

This turned out to be Annie's last full day with us, she got to hang out with all the party guests.  She went out with party, what a great way to go!

Shawn, Nora and Lisa managed to get a nice family photo (after Nora stopped pointing to the Froot Loops).  We tried but did not succeed!!

We thought Amelia would make a big ole cake mess, since she is such a piggie, but she didnt :(  She was dainty about the whole thing, darn!  I love the last picture, eating cake is such hard work!!!

I love how you can see the sprinkles stuck to her hands and face in these, plus a nice close up of her pretty smash cake.

Time for presents, you can see that all the other kiddos were excited about opening gifts too!!

Our attempts at a family photo, if this worked out I was gonna try to get Ian in the picture too, but as you can see, we didnt even come close with just the 3 of us :)  Good times...

After everyone but Mom had left we were able to at least get a few of me and my sweet girl!  I love her up to the sky.....
