Happy Halloween!

We participated in our 1st Halloween in who knows how long. We didnt want the dogs to freak out everytime someone came to the door, so we sat in the driveway prepared to hand out candy, and then not many people stopped by, oh well, at least Logan got to wear his cute outfit :)

Logan had a professional photo shoot last week by a photographer I work with all the time at Lakeway. She just posted a sneak peek on her blog so I wanted to share. I should get the rest of the pictures early next week and will be posting some on the blog, facebook and all on shutterfly, but I'll send another update to let everyone know.

Feet

Logan has discovered his feet. So cute!

Growing so Fast!!

He is getting so big so quickly, its just crazy. I was trying to pick out outfit for him the other day and it was a teeny bit chilly, so I thought I would do his footie pants from his going home out (and really didnt know if they would still fit). Surprisingly they did, but I realized this was going to be the last time this super cute onesie and pants fit him, which made me a little sad. Then I thought I should take his picture so in years to come (or for everyone following from a distance) you can actually get a better idea of how much he grew over 4 months. So I pulled out the adorable hat that went along and we had a photo session before I left for work :)

You can see his is a little snug in the outfit, and his toes are pushing the limits of those little bears, but who cares, he certainly didnt. The dogs were of course around to make sure all was well, and to try to get any attention they could, so Logan was just taking it in and watching his favorite basset hound puppy (not really, but I still call her a puppy 8 years later). He is watching the dogs all the time now, and they are getting better about him, however, sometimes they dont realize how small he is, last night annie decided she wanted to sit really close to Logan and I, so she plopped her big old butt right down on his feet. He didnt notice at all, dont worry :)

As you can tell, the hat really doesnt bit at all, and the pants fall right below his little belly, but doesnt he just look so stinkin cute!!!!

He loves to stand now (he has some strong legs) but he was having a hard time on our slippery leather couches with footie pants on. His poor little leg just kept sliding, but he was not ready to sit down again, he wanted to be a big boy!

Since he had this 4 month checkup on Thursday he was given the OK to move forward with cereal. He had been watching us all eat for weeks now so I was very excited to give it a try with him. We put on his super cute cookie monster bib from Uncle Eric and put him in his bumbo (since the highchair had been on backorder since March, we finally got it last night) and we were off!

This was spoonful number 2 or 3. As you can tell, he isnt a big fan :)

He did manage to make quite a mess of himself, luckily he was due for a bath that night anyway

Of course he decided it would be great to start eating his hands again, so the cereal got all over him and the chair, but it was easy to clean luckily. I love this picture because you can see his curled up toes :)

Nothing Really

Nothing in particular to blog about with this post, just mainly wanted to show off some new pictures. I just dont have time for typing right now, things have just been way way way too busy, I am hoping for a break but I dont think it will come until January!!

I looked down the other night and this is how he had fallen asleep on his bouncy with his favorite christmas bear, it just make me smile.

We have a TV watcher on our hands, it doesnt matter what is one either, he just loves to watch it. In this case it was a trailer for Halo, so you can think he will be a gamer like his dad, but in the doctors office the other day there was a cooking show on and he was fascinated by that, so I think its just the TV.

He is just so active now he falls alseep whenever he has the chance in the car. Look how peaceful he looks, such a cute little boy!!

4 Months Old!!

Holy Cow he is 4 Months Old!!!

I have no clue how it has happened, there is no way it has been so long and it has gone to quickly. Enjoy the pics and of course his new fun facts will be below!!

Fun Facts:

• as you can probably see, his is teething and loves his hands, they are always in his mouth
• he has one little tooth starting to break the gums on the bottom
• he is 14.7 lbs and 26 inches long, so 50% for weight and 50-75% on height
• he is laughing now and loves to smile
• he is really watching the dogs more now, if they move and he is awake he watches them
• he loves tv, it doesnt matter what is on, he just loves to watch it
• he is scared by sneezes, especially ians, he basically screams when he hears a sneeze
• he is really liking the whole standing up thing, he has some strong legs
• he no longer wants to be reclined, he wants to be sitting up and watching his surroundings
• he is such a good boy, he doesnt cry much, sleeps through the night, and is just a joy!!!

im so behind, i know, i know

i realize i am way behind, its just so hard trying to juggle working 50+ hours, driving 10 hours, feeding logan, eating myself, attempting to clean and trying to sleep, there is just not much time for blogging, sorry :(

im just gonna do my picture update again, they are starting with the oldest. and stayed tuned for sunday for his 4 month photos already!!!

yes, this is a picture of a pickle. we got this jar about a month ago and i noticed that one of the pickles had a face. so of course ian took some pictures and then pulled it out of the jar and kept it in a seperate container for safe keeping :)


logan was chillin with his dad in his super cute actual outfit. now that he has worn pants a shorts a few times i realize how cute he looks in them :)

We tried to get a picture of logan & i with the dogs, this was take like 10 or so, and we just gave up at this point. i was covered in hair, logan was getting a teeny bit annoyed and the dogs just werent getting it, so this is gonna have to do

ian got him a glo-worm and he LOVES it. this is the day we brought it home, we gave it to him and he reached out and pulled it right up to his face!

Jaska still feels like she must constantly keep watch and be as close to him as possible. Poor boy is going to be forever covered in dog hair cause of her


We took him swimming and put him in lisa & shawns "ice boat" meant for beverages in the pool. we thought he would look super cute in it, well, turns out he actually didnt fit that well plus he was not very happy. after he swam a bit he calmed down and let me put him back in, but still wasnt really too happy about it all

He is really starting to pay attention to toys and reach out and grab them, however, he still doesnt like being on his belly unless he is asleep on his belly, which he loves. There are 2 funny things about this picture (1 ) jaska's butt is of course on the mat forever guarding him ( 2 ) logan is in a 6 to 9 month sleeper and this was taken a few weeks ago. He is just so long, he really fits in the 6 to 9 month better than the 3 to 6 month, he did not get this height from me :)

he loves his exercauser!!! look at those cut little legs too :)

soooo precious

he hit one of those spinning things with his hand and discovered that they make noise, so he then spun them forward and backwards for a good 15 minutes, concentrating very hard on it too, it was super cute

he also very much enjoys the sun toy, he likes to talk to it or just stare at it as he is in this picture, again, what a cutie!!

Well, tomorrow I will post his 4 month pics, I cant believe its been that long!!
